I’ d like to tell you a little story about this family session. A few months ago back in the autumn, Mrs R contacted me about photographing an upcoming special family event. Unfortunately I was not able to accommodate them due to timings, logistics and location. But then Mrs R had another idea – a photo shoot before Christmas so that they can give some portraits of the children to various members of the family. Happily I was able to fit them in. So I turned up on the day, met the lovely children and their huge pet dog Scooby (guess who he looks like?). I stood there in their sitting room, sure that their Mum looked very familiar to me. Well, she’s only a long lost friend of mine from school! We spent a year together at Middle school, lost touch at high school, but now 25 + years later, and 60 miles from our original home town, we have met each other again. So here’s to fortunate meetings, long lost friends and to catching up with each other again in 2011. And of course, here are just a few photos of your beautiful children.
