with Fleur De Lis and gowns from Brides of Winchester
I still have lots of real weddings lines up to show you all from last year, but I thought I’d sneak this one in quickly as it shows the new home of Winchester Registry Office – The Basing Room. Doesn’t it just look amazing? I wouldn’t mind having a registry office wedding here at all! These photos were taken at the meet up I attend with other Hampshire wedding photographers where we practice new skills, try out various equipment and generally learn and have a laugh. As usual I shot on both film and digital and we practised with various lighting situations – using off camera flash, natural light, and continuous lighting. Esme was our very patient model for the day, Brides of Winchester supplied us with the amazing Suzanne Neville Grovesnor gown, and a SoSassi gown by Sassi Halford. Fleur De Lis came along as well and supplied a stunning floral arrangement and beautiful bouquet. Thanks to Stephen Duncan for arranging us to have access to the Basing Room and The Great Hall of Winchester! Film developed and scanned by UK Film Lab.
If you’re having your wedding at The Basing Room Winchester, or indeed having your reception at The Great Hall, do give me a shout if you are still looking for a photographer! I still have some spaces left for 2015, but am now booking for 2016 and 2017.
