The Perfect Family Photograph

The Perfect Family Photograph on Mother’s Day

It’s Mothering Sunday in the UK today so I’d like to wish everyone a Happy Mother’s Day.   So after breakfast in bed, and a roast dinner, we also had a look through some family snaps, and I asked my kids what the perfect family photograph would be.  It’s a simple answer which I think deep down in our hearts we all know – it’s the one with everyone in it.   I think that at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter what we look like in those photos, our kids don’t care. They want a photo with everyone in it, having fun, being goofy, doing whatever it is you like to do.  When they look at that photo, they’ll remember that feeling so I’d like to encourage everyone (including myself) in this age of the selfies, to actually A) be present in your family life, and B) don’t hide away, be in those family photos too! Not just Mums, dads, grandparents, cousins, siblings, extended friends and family members too! Happy Mothering Sunday everyone.
