Beautiful, natural and relaxed Tipi New Forest Wedding
It’s been a crazy last few months with a very busy wedding season, but I’m back to blogging and so pleased to start with this – Sarah and Simon’s wedding from last year! When I first met Sarah and Simon, I knew immediately that I would very much enjoy shooting their wedding. Both thoughtful, relaxed and down to earth if there ever was a wedding that represented their interests and personalities, it was this! Surrounded by friends and family, they got married at Sarah’s local family Church in Brockenhurst, then over to their friend’s field in Minstead where their reception was being held in a tipi. The journey from the church to the tipi involved a horse drawn carriage and a vintage car, and we stopped at The oldest Oak tree in the forest, as well as saying hello to the New Forest ponies. Sarah grew many of the flowers and plants used at the wedding and friends and family helped with the decorations, bunting, games, signs. Food was sourced locally from the Forest and some of the games were even environmentally themed (both bride and groom are environmentalists). I left them partying into the night with a live band and I’m sure they would’ve had a good sleep in the nearby bell tents. Thanks for having me Sarah and Simon, here are just some of your photos again to remember the day.
