WHEREVER WE CARE TO

WANDER

– My Approach to Weddings –

Your Day, Your Way

I'm sure you've personalised every aspect of your wedding so it's not any different with my photography, I'll tailor it around your needs. Want shorter coverage, no problem. Want a few formal photos but not too many? Done. Want some tips on posing or none at all? Let's chat, let me know what you need.

observant and unobtrusive

I love to take pictures of those unguarded and unseen moments of the wedding day so that you can see and re-live it all much more powerfully.

Quiet Calm Professionalism

A lot of my couples say that I have a calming influence on the day. I am friendly but not in your face, organised but relaxed. I'll get things done quietly and efficiently so that you can enjoy your time with your friends and family.

I have compiled the most common wedding collections or packages which people ask for and these have significant savings already built in.  The “Full Works Package” for example has everything you could possibly want in it and is £2000.

However,  you can build your own package.  If you start with the “Just Right” package you can add on what you want.  The Just Right is typically 8 hours of coverage with me as your wedding photographer and is £995 with an usb of your finished photos.  You can then add various options such as additional hours, a second shooter, an engagement shoot, fine art prints and frames, various sized albums, and new for 2017 – a highlights film slideshow which includes short snippets of video!

Additional hours start at £125 per hour.  The hours in the above packages are approximate, so I wouldn’t be leaving you on the hour if things happen to be running over. However, if proceedings look like they will over-run by well over an 1 hour more, then I suggest adding additional hours to your package.

Second Shooters start at £200 for  covering preparations to the sit down meal.  They are a valuable addition to your coverage as they can document your partner getting ready and cover other angles of your celebrations.  If you’d like them to stay from getting ready to the first dance, then the price is £250.

The highlights film slideshow is £250 and only available as an add on when you already have a second shooter booked.  The slideshow is a mixture of short video clips along with a selection of photos set to music.

Leather bound albums start at £399 for an 8×8 inch lay flat album with fine art paper and 30 pages. Parent albums which are smaller but identical in design with a cotton cover start at £199.

Engagement shoots are £150 which includes your favourite 10 images in high resolution on a disc.

Please take a look at my products page for a little bit more info on what I offer.

Half day rates and bespoke quotes also available on request.  If you are having a small intimate wedding and require less coverage, please contact info@jennyowensphotography.com or use the contact form on this website.

– FAQ –

DO YOU WORK ON YOUR OWN?

Yes I do for probably around half the weddings I photograph each year.  But I also work a lot with other professional wedding photographers if the package chosen by the couple includes a second shooter.  It really depends on your preferences and timings.  If there are multiple locations, a tight timeline, and maybe a larger wedding, then I would suggest hiring a second shooter.  All my second shooters are experienced photographers, professional and friendly people so you will be in safe hands.

DO YOU STILL SHOOT FILM?

Yes I do! I love shooting old fashioned film. I use it all the time for my own personal work.  I do tend to use digital only on professional sessions and edit my photos to look like film with a softer more natural look but if you'd like me to shoot both on real film and digital on your day then do ask me and I'll bring some along.  There's nothing better than using film for some of those beautiful romantic portraits for example so do let me know if you'd like that option.

COPYRIGHT AND DO WE GET ALL THE PHOTOS?

The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 states that as the photographer, I own the Copyright to your images but what you will get is a personal print licence which means that you can make prints, products, share your photos with your friends and family as long as they are for personal use only and not sold for commercial gain.

As for the photos, I promise you'll get all the best ones!  I tend to automatically discard all unflaterring poses (people blinking etc) and then I go through duplicates of the same pose and choose the best ones.  You will get all of those in your gallery.

ARE YOU INSURED?

I am indeed fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity insurance. If your wedding/party venue requires me to produce a certificate, I would be more than happy to do so, just let me know.
