A Taste of Summer: Film photos in the air, by the sea, and on land
As we welcome the crisp cool mornings and rich golden hues of autumn, I thought it would be good to show more snapshots of the things I got up to in the summer holidays! I almost exclusively shoot film when I’m not working with clients (although I also shoot film with clients as back up – I just can’t put it down!) I just love having a stack of proof prints and negatives of my personal photos to look at and I am very fortunate to live close to some amazing places in the UK. A couple of images are from Lepe Beach where you can see the Isle of Wight or some of the big Ocean liners coming out of Southampton. Some are from Manor Farm Country Park, recently the location used for a BBC documentary Wartime Farm. The rest of images are from the Bournemouth Air festival the largest free air festival in the UK. You can see The Blades and the Red Arrows performing their amazing show in the images below. The film used were a mixture of fuji 800z and probably 160, I can’t quite recall now!
This post is also part of my monthly blog circle of film enthusiasts from around the world. We have a new member in our blog circle this month, so I’d like to give Jen Golay a big warm welcome. I know we are all looking forward to her contributions to the circle. Please take a look at Jen Golay’s blog post and then follow the links around to look at more film photos from our circle.
