Poppy and Elliott’s intimate woodland wedding
I am going to steal Poppy and Elliott’s Uncle Jon’s words from him and say that this is what happened when Hampshire’s own “Robin Hood” married his “Maid Marion” in the woods somewhere in West Meon. Uncle Jon officiated their beautiful woodland ceremony where they exchanged their vows underneath a canopy of green leaves. It was very touching to hear that they married in a place that was so special and significant to them. They spent a lot of time walking in these woods and is almost at the same spot where Elliott proposed to Poppy! The legal part happened a few days ago at Winchester Registry office (which I also had the privilege to photograph). But this celebration was their wedding, a personal and heartfelt ceremony surrounded by the closest friends and family. The weather was just right, with the sun shining through the clouds at the perfect moment. Here are just a few sneak peeks from their wedding last Saturday.
