an interview with Sass and Grace Bridal Boutique
a stunning, exclusive but friendly bridal boutique near Winchester, Hampshire
I’m so happy to get back to my Wedding supplier featured posts and here we are kicking off with Sam, the lovely owner from multi award winning Hampshire Bridal Boutique Sass and Grace Bridal. Sam prides herself in giving a personal, unhurried service in her tranquil luxurious boutique just a few miles north of Winchester. With exquisite wedding dresses in a range of styles, brides can take their time in choosing that all important dress, and then later accessories and perhaps even bridesmaid dresses. Here you can find out a little bit about her top tips and trends for 2019/2020 wedding dress styles and even find out a little bit about her on a personal level. Please read on!
Have you seen any trends for the 2019/2020 wedding season?
Lots of fitted crepe skirts with beautiful cut out lace on the trains. Beautiful back detail is still bang on trend for 2019/ 2020.
Clean simple lines in timeless silhouettes. (Sabina Motasem)
Changing your look from day to evening – making lace overlays removable, adding a bolero, adding straps. Making petticoats removable. More and more brides are making bespoke changes to their dresses and fortunately as we work with some great designers we’re able to accommodate!
Any advice for brides looking for their dresses?
Find a boutique that goes the extra mile. Sass and Grace offers brides an unhurried one to one session. You’ll be the only bride trying your dress on at your appointment in luxurious, calm friendly surroundings and with large and varied range for both brides and bridesmaids, from gowns to accessories. Sass and Grace has dedicated parking right outside the boutique for when you pick up your dress, storage for when it arrives but you can’t pick it up yet, and most importantly, their own in house seamstress so that your dress can fit perfectly on your very special day.
What do you like to do to relax?
I have 2 little boys so for me spending time with my family is really important. We like to go on long walks and it’s always great when you finish it off with a drink in a great pub!
Sweet or savoury?
New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc or I have been know to enjoy a Cosmo too!
Favourite holiday destination?
The Carribean – the beaches are beautiful, the weather is amazing and I love the laid back culture.
