A walk along the woods and river: Hampshire Family Photography
It’s always an honour to be asked by a colleague from the wedding industry to photograph their own family. Sian, wedding co-ordinator from Amethyst Weddings knew that autumn is always a busy time for me on the family photography side of the business so she got in nice and early and we arranged to go for a walk by the Itchen river in the middle of September. We were lucky as it was a beautiful day and I certainly enjoyed the short football match I tried to play with her little one, the nature walk (meeting a very friendly robin), and just generally chilling by the river. It was slightly more difficult keeping things under wraps though as the photos were going to be christmas presents for family! I think Sian managed to keep them secret, and I believe they were well received. Here is a selection from their family session.
