Blossom & Bird a wedding and special events florist in Hampshire and West Sussex
It’s Day 4 of my featured wedding Suppliers series this week. Read all about the background of this series by reading this first post here, and please take a look at Annie from Blossom and Bird‘s photos and read her mini interview below!

Annie says:
I hadn’t intended to start my own business, I left the florist I used to work for, even though I loved their designs, as I fancied a change, wanted more variety and experience. Then I realised I was a bit fussy and didn’t like the style of anywhere local that was hiring so took a leap of faith and decided to just work for myself! It’s been great and working alone has given me time to discover my own style which seems to be natural and gardeny with lots of scents and soft textures for lovely romantic designs. I love the freedom and being able to dedicate myself to just weddings and special events makes it feel like every customer is part of the little Blossom & Bird family.
My workshop is within a beautiful shop in Southsea called Little Love Heart where Wedding suppliers can showcase their work and Brides can browse products and gather inspiration… like a mini wedding fair. I’ll go anywhere, but have mainly been asked to provide flowers locally across Hampshire and West Sussex.

What do you love about your business?
I love being a part of someone’s wedding day, getting to know a couple’s story and playing a little part in a day they will always remember.
What’s the most popular trend you’re seeing for weddings in 2015?
Natural, relaxed weddings, with hair flowers, loose wispy bouquets, stems in antique bottles and eclectic table décor.

What’s your favourite wedding tip?
There are no rules, make it personal.
What’s your favourite snack?
Rococo Chocolates… blending flowers and chocolate, my favourites!
Annie and I have worked together before – she’s always so smiley and her flowers always beautiful. Go see her at Stansted Park wedding fair this sunday 8th March! You can also find her on
Facebook,
Instagram and
Twitter as @blossomandbird. Photo shoot was organised by
The Nostalgic Wedding Fair for
Doily Days Magazine‘s feature “working in weddingland” out now in Issue 5.
Hair and Make up for all the exhibitor models were expertly done by Creations Chichester, Toni Todd, and Caroline Kearney Mobile hair and beauty. Location for the shoot is the beautiful
