Pretty In Pink: A Bridal Photoshoot in the New Forest Heather

I have always wanted to shoot in the beautiful scrubland in the New Forest.  How can scrubland be beautiful I hear you ask?  Well, in autumn the heather come out in bloom all over the fields and hills of the New Forest Scrubland and depending on the wind and the weather, it can in turn look pretty or dramatic, sometimes both at the same time!  So when Claire from Uptown Curls requested a collaborative shoot, she, along with the other suppliers agreed for it to take place in one of my favourite places.  We were lucky with the weather – it was windy but the sun came out every now and again from behind the clouds, and the heavens only opened with the very last dress we had to photograph.  Here are my film photos from that bridal photoshoot.  I loved how the film captured the light on our rustic shoot.

The gowns were provided by Bella Bride and Ball who provide brides with new and once worn dresses, the flowers were by Stubbington Village Florist who also provided the rustic crown which was very in keeping with the theme, hair by Uptown Curls, make up by Eye candy, hair accessories by Silverwave.  Film developed and scanned by UK Film Lab.  Many thanks to Sophie and Emme for modelling and being great sports on the day.  More detail shots and other digital photos will be coming up next week so do come back and visit again.
