EXPERIENCE

I’m a bit like a swan – you know calm and serene on the surface but paddling furiously under the water! Most of my couples and their families say that I am a calming influence on the day – I won’t get in your way during the stressful getting ready times, but I’ll be there keeping an eye on the timings and will give a gentle nudge if required. I like to be organised in as much as I can beforehand but I also equally go with the flow. I pride myself in listening and focusing in on the couple’s wants and needs for their photography so if you want me to be totally hands off with no directing then that’s great – my style is very relaxed and natural and lends itself to that kind of documentary photography. If however you feel like you need some gentle suggestions as to how to pose – then I’d happily advice you too. If you have a large wedding and have a lot of people to herd for group photos, that’s fine I’ll advice you beforehand as to how to make group shots go as quickly and efficiently as possible.
