Lucy and Tabby get Married
see their unique diy summer wedding reception at Barford Park Barn
I can truly say, hand on my heart that I love and enjoy being part of each and every one of the weddings I’ve been asked to photograph. There may be some similarities in terms of venues and style, a traditional timeline may be followed (or not), but each couple is unique and different, and they all have wildly different weddings because of that. I always look forward to seeing how my couples have incorporated their own personalities into their day. I love to see what details they’ve included, the stories behind it, and also really look forward to the speeches which can in turn be raucous or emotional. Each and every love story is different and unique and I love that about weddings.
However, I can also truly say that Tabby and Lucy’s wedding was a very special and emotional one. There were many tears (yes from me too) starting at the church, with their choice of music, the readings, and the sermon – so full of understanding, meaning and love. The speeches had lots of hilarious stories from Tabby’s father, mixed in with heartfelt thanks from the couple themselves, and then Ollie the best man knocking it out of the park with his speech. Not to mention the visits from Tabby’s horse, 4 pet dogs, unicorn and rainbow cakes, pretty flowers and rustic decorations, all put together by a specially creative family and friends. What can I say- it was magical Tabby and Lucy. Thanks for having me be part of your day. Here are just some of your preview pics, I hope you love them as much as I loved shooting your wedding.
