Rebecca and Richard’s Autumn wedding in Winchester
at The Basing Room and The Chesil Rectory
Let me take you back to an autumn wedding last year when the sun was shining and the trees still had their golden yellow, orange and red leaves. It was a stunning day to get married and Rebecca and Richard made the most of the beautiful day by walking around Winchester before meeting their guests at The Basing Room for their ceremony. After the ceremony, it was back down the hill for drinks, canapes, and a delicious dinner at the grade II listed medieval building The Chesil Rectory. I love photographing small intimate ceremonies in Winchester in the autumn. Not only is the quality of light beautiful, and of course taking a walk around the historical city of Winchester never fails to offer beautiful backdrops, but I always feel honoured when invited to photograph an intimate ceremony with only a handful of the couple’s closest family and friends in attendance. So thank you Rebecca and Richard, I hope you look back at your photos fondly as I do.
