A Beautiful Wedding In May: Winchester Wedding Photographer

It was an absolute pleasure to be part of Kate and Joe’s wedding in Winchester last May.   As a Winchester wedding photographer, I jumped at the chance and was lucky enough to be able to second shoot for Paula Broome Photography in my own backyard as it were.  It was a whistle-stop tour of all the beautiful places in the City, from Kate getting ready at The Winchester Royal Hotel, Joe and his crew having drinks at The Wykeham Arms, then off to The Hospital at St Cross for their beautiful church ceremony, back to the Prior’s Hall for their drinks reception, then finishing off  at The Cathedral’s walled garden as the venue for their wedding breakfast.   The wedding was very much a friends and family orientated one – lots of bumps, babies and toddlers around, and some lovely details such the cake and the flowers being made by family.  The weather was kind, the bride and groom radiant, friends and family had fun and everyone enjoyed their day.  What more could you want from a wedding!  Congratulations Kate and Joe, I’m sure married life is treating you both well.  So here are a few photos taken on both digital and film.  Do keep an eye out over on Paula’s site if you’d like to see more.
