Wedding stationery supplier Loveli
Welcome everyone to another of my featured Hampshire wedding supplier interviews. If you’re looking for wedding stationery, then do take a look at Lianne at Loveli : design for love & life . We met whilst at a photoshoot for the Nostalgic Wedding Fair in the summer and I geeked out at her wedding stationery stocks and designs. Since we met up, she’s moved to Lincolnshire but obviously she can still work with people throughout the UK. She is now also offering a styling service for your wedding and Art prints so do visit her site and have a look around, and learn a little bit more about her below!
Tell me bout your business and how you started With over a decade of graphic design experience in the more corporate world I have always loved creating things for friends and families celebrations and weddings, but the catalyst for starting LoveLi was definitely my own wedding in 2014. I realised there was a gap in the market for a down to earth, friendly brand to help guide and assist couples in what usually is a first (and last) experience of what can be a pretty overwhelming world of weddings. I love that I am now able to combine my passion and design experience to create beautifully bespoke wedding items for my couples. I treat each stationery set with as much care and attention as if it were my own and carefully curate pretty paper elements to suit each individual couples style, personality and big day theme.
Where do you get your inspiration from? – I get inspiration from all everywhere. Every day life is an endless source of inspiration, whether that be seeing some fabulous packaging in a shop, or taking vision from elements in nature.
What’s your most popular piece/design/item? The most popular stationery range this year has been the Gatsby Type. It’s the one people are drawn to at wedding fairs and is so elegant and simple.
Do you see any trends coming up for 2017? Foiled finishes have been a popular for the last couple of years now and it looks like they’re set to continue. Another trend that has emerged for stationery requests is a tag style invitation – these are being designed more and more frequently in the studio. I think also going forward with Pantones new colour of the year ‘greenery’ we’re going to see a lot more botanicals featuring in stationery and styling.
Favourite holiday destination By far my favourite destination is India. I have visited a number of times now from a child through to adulthood and I just love the country, culture and fabulous food. It was even part of my honeymoon trip, along with an amazing week spent in the Maldives which is also on my favourite places list.
