Hello everyone, here is part 2 of my summer holiday photos. The first part is here, if you’d care to take another look, but these photos show a little bit more of where we stayed (in the “Love Yurt” at Forest Yurts Sopley Lake). We had a lovely time glamping and being unplugged for a few days. What a peaceful place Forest Yurts is. There are a handful of yurts dotted around the lake on one side, and then a huge marquee on the other side as they also do wedding receptions there at the weekends. We did not stay for the weekend so we missed an opportunity to gate-crash a wedding (not that we would of course, just kidding), but we did get to meet some lovely people and their dog who visit Sopley Lake often in their beautifully converted Shepherds Hut. We were also very close to some lovely sandy golden beaches and golden fields of wheat so I took advantage and took a few photos. Here are some of them!
Film combination of Portra 400 and 160, taken on mamiya 645 pro, developed and scanned by UK Film Lab.
And here are photos of the lovely Shepherd’s Hut.
If you’d like to see more photos taken on old fashioned film, do take a look at Karyn Johnson’s post here and then folow our blog circle around!
